What is the life expectancy for individuals with Cornelia de Lange syndrome?

Life expectancy is relatively normal for individuals with Cornelia de Lange syndrome.[1]  One article mentioned a woman with Cornelia de Lange syndrome who lived to age 61 and an affected man who lived to age 54.[2]  However, certain features of this condition, particularly severe malformations of the heart or throat, may decrease life expectancy in some affected individuals.[1][2][3]
