  • My best friend has a bad case of gastritis. The H. pylori tests are negative. The condition is now so bad it is affecting her nerves in her neck, she has great pain whenever she eats, has a constant "fuzzy" feeling in her head, and takes Omeprazole but it has no effect. She has had an endoscopy which gave the diagnosis of atrophic gastritis. Are there any dietetic options she can use to ease this? Any surgical options to cure it? Any other drugs available?
