  • I was diagnosed with COP 2 years ago, just before I retired. I've had an open lung biopsy, been hospitalized numerous times and treated with high doses of prednisone. I've had months at a time when I could function very well without oxygen. But I have recurrences. For the last two months I have been coughing a lot and have gasped for air with any exertion and I am back on back on 4 liters of oxygen 24/7. Is there any way to treat recurrent COP? I am afraid I will never get rid of it. Click here for answer
