Monday, January 31, 2011 - Thursday, February 03, 2011
Nicosia, Cyprus

The goal of this meeting was to stimulate new or expanded scientific exchange, research training, and collaborative research projects between U.S. and Middle Eastern and North African scientists. National Institutes of Health (NIH), Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF), Naval Medical Research Unit (NAMRU)-3, and World Health Organization (WHO) staff provided individual mentoring to participants on suitable funding mechanisms that could be used to support small collaborative projects, including the CRDF option.
