Mobile Genetic Elements and Genome Evolution

Sunday, March 09, 2014 - Friday, March 14, 2014
Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza Hotel, Santa Fe, NM

Our goal is to assemble approximately 250 scientists including a substantial number of students and postdoctoral fellows. The presentations and discussions will center on the key questions of transposon biology and their application in medicine and industry. One goal is to accelerate research in the field through the exchange of unpublished results. Another critical goal is to expand the knowledge base of students and postdoctoral fellows so that they will be better prepared to contribute to research in the field. In addition, we wish to continue the broad scope of this conference so that it can continue to function as the dominant meeting in the field.
