Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) Scientific Workshop

Thursday, May 02, 2013 - Saturday, May 04, 2013
Houston, TX

A major objective of the PIDTC is to encourage young scientists and clinicians to choose a career in studying PID. PIDTC-funded fellows will present at the workshop and all junior faculty and fellows will bring posters on their research efforts in PID. Finally, the patient advocacy groups are essential to the success of the PIDTC both by disseminating information regarding progress in the diagnosis and treatment of PIDs and generating awareness of PIDTC study protocols. The workshop will provide an opportunity for patient advocacy groups to report on the strategies used to improve awareness of PIDs and to develop synergistic approaches.
