Stem Cells and Reprogramming

Sunday, April 06, 2014 - Friday, April 11, 2014
Resort at Squaw Creek , Olympic Valley, CA

This conference will facilitate rapid spread of new technologies, including gene correction, direct reprogramming, and single-cell analyses for stem cell biology. In addition, the field of cellular therapeutics using stem cell derivatives will be pushed with investigators sharing their early experience and best practices. Rapid analysis of the epigenetic basis for cellular reprogramming will also be shared and new practices in this area developed. Thus, the major outcomes of this meeting will include the dissemination of new scientific knowledge and information, the showcasing of new methodology and technical capabilities, improvements in clinical practice, and the establishment of new collaborations. The meeting will also provide training for trainees and newer investigators, offering an interactive forum to involve new investigators and highlight their research through short talks and poster sessions.
