Workshop to Plan Consortial Activities for Clarifying the Etiology of Male Breast Cancers

Wednesday, May 26, 2010
Rockville, MD

The meeting goals were to (1) bring together researchers with epidemiologic data on male breast cancers that can be contributed to consortial analyses, (2) encourage collaboration of multiple institutions and disciplines, and (3) establish future directions for etiologic research on this rare cancer. Plans were that this meeting would result in one or more manuscripts submitted to peer-reviewed journals, which hopefully would shed further light on the etiology of this rare cancer.
